Meet Neil

Neil has over 30 years of clinical experience working across the NHS, Ministry of Defence, higher education, and private practice, including 10 years as a Consultant Physiotherapist leading musculoskeletal services in Hampshire. He holds both an advanced practice Master’s degree and a Doctorate from the University of Southampton.

He works closely with people experiencing long-term spinal pain, complex musculoskeletal conditions, orthopaedic disorders, and neck-related headaches, including those who may have been living with symptoms for some time. His focus is on helping patients make sense of their condition and understand what may be driving their symptoms.

Patients seeing Neil can expect a thorough assessment, clear explanations, and a structured treatment plan that is tailored to their specific needs and goals. He combines education, self-management strategies, and hands-on treatment where appropriate, helping patients feel informed and supported in managing their condition.

Alongside his clinical work, Neil is a Fellow of both the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and the Musculoskeletal Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (MACP). He is also an Honorary Consultant Physiotherapist at Dorset Healthcare University NHS Trust.

Neil has published more than 20 research papers, contributed six book chapters, and delivered over 200 workshops across seven countries.
