Your first appointment includes an assessment of your main concern, an overview of your medical history and a comprehensive foot/lower limb assessment. This is carried out by a student podiatrist under the supervision of an experienced HCPC-registered podiatrist. Your assessment will help determine the most appropriate treatment and advice for you.

Your treatment will be provided by a Master’s-level podiatry student under the supervision of an experienced HCPC-registered podiatrist.
Duration: Up to 60 minutes | Price: £20
Choose from a range of cost-effective insoles designed to provide cushioning, comfort or support, depending on your needs. Your insoles can also be customised for an optimal fit. Prices from £25.
Bespoke insoles are individually designed for you following an appropriate assessment and casting or imaging of your foot. They are designed to help with more complex foot complaints and are unique to you. Prices from £200.
Nail surgery may be recommended for painful or recurring ingrown or deformed toenails. The surgical option will be discussed with you during your initial assessment, and the procedure is carried out under local anaesthetic. Follow-up appointments will be arranged as required.
Prices from £125
A post-surgery redressing appointment is carried out 1–2 days after your procedure to redress, check healing and support your recovery. There is no additional charge for this appointment, as it is included in the surgery fee.

Treatments are carried out by master’s level podiatry students, under the supervision of HCPC-registered podiatrists who oversee all aspects of care. If you wish, you always have the option to see someone from our qualified team if you prefer.
The Student Podiatry Clinic offers supervised care at a lower cost. The Main Clinic is led by experienced podiatrists and handles more specialist cases, including surgery and high-risk foot conditions. Both deliver excellent care — the choice depends on your needs and preferences.
Scope Of Practice: Please note that as this is a teaching clinic there may be conditions and patient cases that are outside of the scope of a student clinician or teaching environment. All Cases are discussed with qualified practice educators to ensure that the scope of each case is appropriate for a teaching environment. In these circumstances we will signpost and support patients to appropriate health care services including referral to the patients General Practitioner (GP).
Alternate Practitioners Notice: If your usual practitioner is unavailable, we will make every effort to arrange a suitable alternative on the day of your appointment. In these circumstances, you may not be notified in advance. If we are unable to secure an alternative, we will contact you as soon as possible.
