Whether you’re looking to improve your fitness, recover from injury or stay active, our Exercise Classes are designed by experienced clinicians to provide expert support in a friendly and inclusive setting.

Open Gym
Our Open Gym provides a safe environment where you can improve your fitness, build confidence and work towards your health and rehabilitation goals. With a rehabilitation supervisor available throughout each session, you’ll have the support you need every step of the way.

Exercise Classes

Find the perfect class for you! Our exercise classes are an integral part of our approach to promoting health and wellbeing. We pride ourselves on creating a welcoming and accessible space within our Integrated Rehabilitation Centre, ensuring that individuals of all backgrounds and abilities feel comfortable and supported throughout their fitness journey.

If you are independently mobile and are looking for a regular class to get some good quality exercise, our everyday fitness circuits could be for you! Be supported to build strength, balance and cardio in a range of exercises to suit all levels.

Classes take place:

  • Monday: 11:00 – 12:00 | 12:00 – 13:00
  • Wednesday: 10:00 – 11:00
  • Thursday: 11:00 – 12:00 | 12:00 – 13:00
  • Friday: 10:30 – 11:30

Price:

  • £8 per session

If you’re over the age of 45 and have chronic hip or knee pain that’s lasted longer than three months, our Lower Limb OA Class could be perfect for you!

Class Schedule:

  • Tuesday: 11:00 – 12:00 | 12:00 – 13:00
  • Wednesday: 15:00 – 16:00
  • Thursday: 15:00 – 16:00

Our balance class is specifically designed to improve confidence, balance, and stability to help reduce your risk of falling. Be guided through gentle exercises designed to improve your balance and stability and get you feeling like you can move with confidence again.

Classes take place:

  • Wednesday: 11:30 – 12:30
  • Friday: 11:30 – 12:30

Open Gym

Whether you’re recovering from injury, managing a long-term health condition or simply looking to improve your fitness and strength, our Open Gym provides a safe, supportive and inclusive place to exercise.

Start your journey with an initial appointment with one of our rehabilitation specialists, who will guide you through a personalised induction. Once set up, you’ll be able to attend open gym sessions independently while still having support from a rehabilitation supervisor whenever needed. With small group sizes and a welcoming environment, our open gym sessions are designed to help you train confidently and effectively.

  • Monday: 09:00 – 10:00 | 10:00 – 11:00 | 15:00 – 16:00 | 16:00 – 17:00
  • Tuesday: 09:00 – 10:00 | 10:00 – 11:00 | 15:00 – 16:00
  • Wednesday: 09:00 – 10:00 | 14:00 – 15:00
  • Thursday: 09:00 – 10:00 | 10:00 – 11:00 | 14:00 – 15:00 | 16:00 – 17:00

Your group based and circuit-based classes are designed by our specialist team who are on hand to help you make improvements and gain confidence with your exercise.

Also should you want 1-2-1 support to supplement your exercise or deal with pain and injuries, our widely skilled team of rehabilitation experts are on hand to support you as and when you need them

Access State-of-the-art Equipment

Our Integrated Rehabilitation Centre contains the widest range of clinical and rehabilitation services, in Dorset and the surrounding area. From the versatile Keiser Functional Trainer and TRX suspension training system to an array of intuitive free weights, machines, and racks, this state-of-the-art equipment has been carefully selected to support a wide range of requirements enabling you to make the most of your rehabilitation journey.
