Back pain is one of the most common reasons people seek chiropractic care. Student Chiropractic Clinic
Our placement students work under the close supervision of our clinic tutors. Being in the final years of their Masters level degrees, they have had hands on practise since day one of their education.
We’re proud to have delivered chiropractic care in the community for over 50 years. Chiropractic is where our roots are and has allowed us to build a reputation for instilling top level musculoskeletal expertise in our students.
Our Team
Whether in the care of our placement students or directly with our qualified chiropractors, we make sure you are given thorough, person-centred care, and have access to all the clinical expertise we have onsite. Our high-level chiropractic clinical team (fully qualified professionals registered with the GCC) can be booked 1-2-1, and are also on hand to support our students, offer their expertise and to make sure you’re getting the quality care you need.

Our placement students are in the final years of Masters level degrees, working under the close supervision of our clinic tutors. Having had hands-on practise since day one of their education, our students deliver thorough, person-centred care, and have the latest insights and knowledge to ensure you get the support you need.
State-of-the-art facilities
You’ll be treated in one of the largest Chiropractic clinics in Europe, complete with 36 treatment rooms and Open Upright MRI machine, plus you’ll have full access to the wide range of clinical and rehabilitation services we run onsite. Should you need further diagnostics such as an MRI, or ultrasound scan, specialist therapies, or rehabilitation our experts are only a few steps away to provide the support you need.

Can I bring a relative/ friend?
You may be accompanied by a friend, family member or carer. Please let us know ahead of time so we can make the necessary steps. If reception is busy, we may have to ask your companion to wait in the car or in the college refectory where refreshments can be purchased, if they are not accompanying you in your appointment.
Do you have wheelchair access?
Yes, we are fully wheelchair accessible in the Chiropractic clinic. If you have any special requirements, you can always let us know before you arrive. We will do our utmost to support your requests.
Who will I be seen by?
Unless you have booked to see one of our qualified staff, you will be seen by a student chiropractor, who is supported and supervised by a clinical tutor (qualified chiropractor). During the appointment, your student chiropractor will ask you questions about your general health and lifestyle.
How long will my first appointment be?
Please allow 90 minutes for your first appointment, to give us plenty of time to make sure we have all the information we need to be able to provide you with the best possible care.
What is the Friends of the Clinic (FOC) hardship fund?
This hardship fund allows for up to 6 free treatments with a placement student at our chiropractic clinic, to help those who don’t have the means to fund their own care.
To be eligible for the fund you will need to be in receipt of NHS prescriptions and be claiming one of the following benefits:

This fund has been created by our Friends of the Clinic group. If you visit us using this fund please consider contributing a donation to keep the fund going, and/or contributing to our students’ learning via feedback session/class talk.
We are an entirely cash free campus. Our Clinical and Rehabilitation Services do not accept cash payments.
