Student Chiropractic Clinic Opens Special Populations Placement
We’re excited to announce that we will be running a special Student Chiropractic Clinic aimed at supporting specific health needs within our community.
Starting from 6th October, these clinics have been designed to focus on improving overall wellbeing in two key areas of Ageing Well and Headaches, Jaw and Neck Pain.
Ageing Well Clinic
As we age, staying active and mobile becomes essential, but challenges such as reduced strength, balance concerns, and aches and pains can get in the way. This clinic is designed to help people overcome these obstacles, and focuses on:
- Strength & Mobility – Helping you stay active and independent
- Balance & Falls Prevention – Reducing the risk of falls with targeted support
- Muscle and Joint Pain Management – Addressing discomfort to move with ease
- Exercise & Wellbeing – Offering guidance on simple exercises to support lifelong health
This clinic is open to individuals aged 75 and over who may experience unsteadiness, have multiple medications, or notice discomfort when walking. Our final-year chiropractic students, under expert supervision, will provide tailored, affordable care to meet your needs.
Headaches, Neck & Jaw Pain Clinic
This clinic offers specialised care for those dealing with persistent headaches, jaw discomfort, and neck tension. Whether you’re experiencing jaw clicking, chronic headaches, or long-term neck stiffness, the clinic focuses on:
- Jaw Discomfort & Clicking – Alleviating pain and tension
- Headache Relief – Supporting those with chronic neck related headaches lasting more than 3 months
- Neck Stiffness & Pain – Targeting long-term neck issues
- Teeth Grinding – Addressing both daytime and night-time grinding
Our student-led clinic, under expert supervision, offers high-quality, affordable care tailored to your specific needs.
