How our Pain Management Service works

The Pain Management Service is made up of two integrated parts:

1. Pain Management Clinic

Led by Dr. Khalid Alaib, this is the initial consultation and diagnostic hub where you will receive a detailed clinical assessment and bespoke treatment plans.

2. Advanced Interventions & Diagnostics

Led by Dr. Laith Al’Obaidi, this part of the service delivers precision-guided treatments such as ultrasound guided injections, with on-site imaging and close collaboration with our rehabilitation team.

This integrated model ensures patients benefit from a joined-up, multi-disciplinary approach, with rapid access to diagnostics, expert-led interventions, and ongoing support.

Our experienced Pain Management Consultant, Dr. Khalid Alaib offers comprehensive assessments for a wide range of conditions, including:

• Complex regional pain syndrome

Each consultation includes a detailed history, physical examination, and a personalised treatment plan tailored to your individual needs. From here you can easily be referred for imaging, guided injections and other treatments as required.

Initial Consultation – £150 (20 minutes)

Ultrasound Guided Injections

We offer ultrasound-guided injections for accurate and effective pain relief. These procedures are performed on-site, ensuring convenience and continuity of care. Ultrasound guidance enhances precision, safety, and the overall effectiveness of each injection. Treatments include:

• Joint injections (shoulder, knee, hip, etc.)
• Nerve blocks
• Tendon sheath injections
• Bursa injections
• Trigger point injections

On-Site Diagnostic Imaging

Access advanced imaging services such as MRI, Ultrasound and X-Ray conveniently on-site, enabling precise diagnosis and targeted pain relief treatments using the latest technology.

Rehabilitation and Physical Therapy

We offer personalised support to compliment and enhance pain management interventions. Our Integrated Rehabilitation Centre provides dedicated care for managing chronic pain conditions, including physiotherapy, chiropractic, specialist rehabilitation, and recovery programmes designed to restore function and improve quality of life.
