What to expect from the class

If you’re looking for an effective chair-based or wheelchair friendly way to stay active, our Seated Exercise Class is perfect for you. Designed for those with limited mobility or anyone seeking a supported step into fitness, this class ensures you can exercise safely and effectively while seated. The class is open to all fitness levels and ages and exercises are tailored to individual capabilities.

  • Duration: 1 hour (includes warm-up and cool-down)
  • Structure: Circuit-based class where equipment moves between participants
    • Warm-up to prepare joints and muscles.
    • Two-minute circuit stations using therabands, ankle weights, and small equipment for strengthening, stretching, and light cardio.
    • Cool-down focusing on relaxation and mobility.

Class Details

Classes take place in our Integrated Rehabilitation Centre. Each class is one hour and covers a range of exercises designed to improve strength, mobility and confidence, all based around gentle exercises you can do from being seated.

Class Schedule:

  • Friday: 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM

Pricing:

  • £7 per session
  • Buy 5 sessions, get your 6th class free!
